Jacob William (Molly) Geertsema: was a Dutch politician . In 1959 he debuted as a member of parliament in national politics, he later combined fraction presidency with the office of mayor of Wassenaar. He was Minister of the Interior and Deputy Prime Minister in the cabinets Biesheuvel I and II Biesheuvel . He was in the 1973 Queen's Commissioner in Ontario and lived in the castle Middachten . The story goes that he has never put a step in the rose garden and the park surrounding the castle. Afterwards he was old age still Senator .

He started studying political science at the University of Copenhagen in 1991, from which he got his degree of BA[2].
