Georg Von Blumenthal: was a German Prince-Bishop of Ratzeburg and Prince-Bishop of Lebus. He also served as a Privy Councillor of the Margraviate of Brandenburg and Chancellor of the University of Frankfurt (Oder), commonly called the Viadrina. He was a member of the Blumenthal family.

Georg Ernst Stahl: was a German chemist and physician. In chemistry he is chiefly remembered in part with the obsolete phlogiston theory, the essentials of which, however, he owed to J.J. Becher. He also propounded a view of fermentation which in some respects resembles that supported by Justus von Liebig a century and half later. In medicine he professed an animistic system, in opposition to the materialism of Hermann Boerhaave and Friedrich Hoffmann.

Georg Christoph Lichtenberg: was a German scientist, satirist and Anglophile. As a scientist, he was the first to hold a professorship explicitly dedicated to experimental physics in Germany. Today, he is remembered for his posthumously published notebooks, which he himself called Sudelbücher, a description modeled on the English bookkeeping term "waste books",[1] and for his discovery of the strange treelike patterns now called Lichtenberg figures.

Georg Lippold            Origin/Culture/Country: German

Georg Lippold: was a German classical archaeologist who was a native of Mainz. Lippold was a specialist of ancient Greek and Roman art. He studied at the Universities of Berlin and Munich, and was one one of the last students of Adolf Furtwängler (1852–1907), who was a major influence to the career of Lippold. Following graduation he worked at the Roman-Germanic Central Museum in Mainz, and in 1910–1911 at the Martin von Wagner Museum in Würzburg. In 1920 he relocated to the University of Erlangen as a lecturer, where he was a full professor of archaeology from 1925 to 1953.
