Slavko Maric: is a Bosnian Serb football player.

Enver Maric: is a former Bosnian football goalkeeper and now a successful coach. He started his playing career with FK Velež (1967–76), where he played a record 600 games in his 9-year stint. He then went on to play for German club Schalke 04 (1976–78)[1] and the Yugoslavia national football team at the 1974 FIFA World Cup. He was capped 32 times for Yugoslavia. He returned to the game as a goalkeeping coach coach to Velež 1987-90, Fortuna Düsseldorf 1993-1998 and Hertha BSC Berlin 2003-2010.

August Maric: was a Croatian soldier. In the April War he commanded a division of the Royal Yugoslav Army. He was the first chief-of-staff of the Croatian Home Guard when it was created in May 1941, but was removed from his post and retired that September, probably because the Ustaše leadership did not trust him. He was succeeded as chief-of-staff by Vladimir Laxa. Together with minister Mladen Lorkovic, Maric signed the treaty establishing the border between the Independent State of Croatia and the German Reich.

Igor Maric: is a Croatian bobsledder who has competed since 2008. At the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, he finished 20th in the four-man event. Maric's best finish is sixth in a lesser event in Calgary in December 2009.
