Aimar August Sørenssen            Origin/Culture/Country: Norwegian

Aimar August Sørenssen: was a Norwegian politician for the Liberal Party. He was elected to the Norwegian Parliament in 1862, representing the constituency of Smaalenenes Amt. He was a farmer there. He was re-elected in 1865, 1868, 1871, 1874 and 1877. By the last term he had become bailiff (foged). He left on 31 August 1887 to become a member of the Council of State Division in Stockholm the next day. He left this position exactly one year later, having in the meantime served as Minister of Labour from 17 February to 4 March 1888.

Aimar-Charles-Marie Nicolaï: was a French magistrate in the Ancien Régime of France. He was the first president of the Chambre des Comptes, and the fourth member elected to occupy seat 2 of the Académie française in 1788. After giving praise to Louis XVI of France during his reception at the Academy, he was declared an enemy of the people and sentenced to death by guillotine in 1794.

Later he studied with Yvonne Loriod.In 1973, he was awarded the chamber music prize of the Paris Conservatoire.
