Arthur Art Gilmore: is a voice actor and announcer whose voice has been heard in radio and television programs, movies, trailers, advertising promotions and documentary films.Raised in Tacoma, Gilmore graduated from Washington State University in 1931. In 1936 he became a staff announcer for the Warner Brothers' radio station KFWB in Hollywood and then moved to the CBS-owned station KNX as a news reader. During World War II, he served as a fighter-director U.S. Navy officer aboard an aircraft carrier in the Pacific Ocean. Leaving the Navy, he decided to become a professional singer and returned to Hollywood.

She began her career working in a recording studio, where she was discovered by her now long-time collaborator, producer and sometime co-songwriter Nigel Stonier, whom she married in October 2005. [1]Gilmore was born in Oxford to Irish parents[2] and lived in the village of North Aston, Oxfordshire.[3] She became interested in music as a result of her father's record collection, which included work by Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, and The Beatles. Later, she listened to Elvis Costello, Tom Waits, and The Replacements, among others. She began writing poetry at the age of 15 to cope with the divorce of her parents. [4]

Dame Mary Jean Gilmore: was a prominent Australian socialist poet and journalist.In 1890, Gilmore moved to Sydney, where she became part of the "Bulletin school" of radical writers. Although the greatest influence on her work was Henry Lawson it was A. G. Stephens, literary editor of The Bulletin, who published her verse and established her reputation as a fiery radical poet, champion of the workers and the oppressed.Gilmore followed William Lane and other socialist idealists to Paraguay in 1896, where they had established a communal settlement called New Australia two years earlier. There she married William Gilmore in 1897. By 1902 the socialist experiment had clearly failed and the Gilmores returned to Australia, where they took up farming near Casterton in the Western District of Victoria.
