Florian Côté: was a Liberal party member of the Canadian House of Commons. He was born in Sainte-Brigitte-des-Saults, Quebec and became a farmer by career.He was first elected at the Nicolet—Yamaska riding in a 19 September 1966 by-election. In the next federal election in 1968, he was elected at Richelieu, and re-elected two more times there in the 1972 and 1974 federal elections.

Antoine-Philéas Côté: was a Liberal party and Independent Liberal member of the Canadian House of Commons. He was born in Métis, Quebec and became an author and journalist by career. He is known for his early attempts to officially establish "O Canada" as the national anthem and to rename the national holiday to Canada Day. He was first elected as an Independent Liberal member of Parliament at the Matapédia—Matane riding in the 1945 general election. He and a number of other Quebec Liberals had broken with their party the year before during the Conscription Crisis of 1944, quitting the party in order to oppose the government's decision to deploy National Resources Mobilization Act conscripts overseas. Previously, conscripts had only been used for "home defence" and kept within Canada. During his first term in office he joined the Liberal Party and became a member of the party's caucus and was re-elected in the 1949 election as an official Liberal candidate.

Guy Côté: is a Canadian politician. Côté has been involved in many non-profit organizations in Portneuf, among other things, serving as a School commissioner in Portneuf, Quebec (2003–2004) before being elected to the Canadian House of Commons in the 2004 federal election for the Bloc Québécois, a left-wing separatist party, in the riding of Portneuf—Jacques-Cartier. Côté is a former salesman. He worked briefly as a salesman for CKNU a local radio station of his riding. He has also been assistant to the former Bloc MP of Portneuf. During the 1980s, at the time of the beau risque and the Meech Lake constitutional reform, he was a member of the local association of the PC party in the riding of Langelier (now Quebec), under Gilles Loiselle, a strong believer in Canadian federalism.

Côté was elected Progressive Conservative Member of Parliament for Langelier, Quebec He was appointed to Mulroney's Cabinet as Minister of Consumer and Corporate Affairs shortly after the election. He served in that position until 1986, and also as Minister responsible for Canada Post Corporation from 1985 to 1987. From 1986 to 1987, he was also Minister of Regional Industrial Expansion. From 1987 to 1988, he was Minister of Supply and Services.

Pierre-Émile Côté: was a Canadian politician. He was first elected to the Legislative Assembly of Quebec in a 1924 by-election for Bonaventure. A Liberal, he was acclaimed in 1927 and re-elected in 1931 and 1935. He was defeated in 1936. He was Minister of Highways from March to August 1936. He was elected to the Canadian House of Commons in a 1937 by-election for Bonaventure. A Liberal, he resigned in 1939 to return to provincial politics and was elected in 1939. He was Minister of Lands and Forests, Fish and Game from 1941 to 1942. He resigned in 1942, when he was appointed a judge of the Quebec Superior Court. He died in Quebec City in 1950.
