Erhard Geißler: is a German biologist and geneticist. Geißler was a professor for genetics at the University of Rostock. Between 1965 and 1971 he was dean of the university. Subsequently he was head of department at the Zentralinstitut für Molekularbiologie of the German Academy of Sciences at Berlin, from 1992 till 2000 at the Max Delbrück Center for Molecular Medicine. Furthermore he has been working for the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute since 1983.[1]

Erhard Mauersberger: was a German choral conductor, conducting the Thomanerchor as the fourteenth Thomaskantor since Johann Sebastian Bach. He was also an academic and a composer. In 1925 he became director of the Aachener Bachverein, in 1928 a teacher at the Musikhochschule Mainz and a cantor at the Christuskirche Mainz. From 1930 he was cantor at the Georgenkirche in Eisenach. In 1932 he started teaching at the Hochschule für Musik "Franz Liszt", Weimar, appointed Professor for choral conducting in 1946. Since 1950 he directed the Thüringer Kirchenmusikhochschule in Eisenach.

Erhard Altdorfer: was a German Early Renaissance printmaker, painter, and architect, who worked as a court painter in Schwerin from 1512 until his death in 1561. It is assumed Erhard Altdorfer worked in Austria at the Lambach Abbey, and in St Florian and Klosterneuburg around 1510. In 1512, he went to Schwerin where Duke Henry V of Mecklenburg-Schwerin (1479–1552) appointed him court painter and architect. During a trip with the duke that year he probably came in contact with Lucas Cranach the Elder. A commission for the duke and Albert VII was an altarpiece in Sternberg, however destroyed by fire in 1741.
