Solveig Sollie Helene: is a Norwegian politician ( KrF ). She was elected Member of Parliament from Telemark in 1985 . She was a deputy in the period 1981 - 1985 . It was she who introduced the idea of introducing cash benefit to parents to put an end to what many perceived as an injustice, in that the government "sponsors" kindergarten, but do not give support to those parents who choose to stay home with their children. The idea was launched in advance of parliamentary elections in 1989, but it was only after the formation of the central government ( Bondevik I ), that the idea was realized. Sollie was deputy mayor of Skien in 1979 - 1981 . From 1998 to 2004 she was the county of Telemark.
