He is the author or the co-author of the Japanese publications "Asteroid Hunter (???????)", "Celestial Body Photography Manual (?????????)", "The Celestial Sky of Our Dreams (???????)", as well as others. He also is a frequent contributor to the Japanese periodical "Monthly Astronomical Guide (???????)".

Kazuo Imai: a Tokyo-based guitarist who plays in a rigorous and original free improvisation idiom. His music joins the rigour and texture of contemporary classical with the passion of free jazz. He has played with many Western and Japanese improvisers, including Lee Konitz, Barre Phillips, Arthur Doyle, Han Bennink, Irene Schweizer, Shuichi Chino, Tetsu Saitoh and Kazue Sawai. In addition to playing solo and in collaborations, Imai is also a member of the important collective improvisation group Marginal Consort. As well as guitar, Imai also plays viola da gamba.

Kazuo Nishii: was a Japanese magazine editor and photography critic.Nishii was born in Tokyo in 1946. He graduated in economics from Keio University in 1968, and shortly after this moved to the company publishing Mainichi Shimbun, rising via stints at Sunday Mainichi and Mainich Graph to become editor in chief of Camera Mainichi from 1983 until the magazine folded in 1985.After the demise of Camera Mainichi Nishii worked as an editor for various book-publishing projects of Mainichi Shinbun-sha.

Kazuo Noda: a Japanese freestyle swimmer who competed in the 1924 Summer Olympics and in the 1928 Summer Olympics. He was born in Shizuoka.In 1924 he was eliminated in the first round of the 400 metre freestyle event as well as of the 1500 metre freestyle competition. He was also a member of the Japanese relay team which finished fourth in the 4 x 200 metre freestyle relay event.Four years later he helped the Japanese relay team to qualify for the final of the 4 x 200 metre freestyle relay competition when he swam in the semi-final. His compatriots won the silver medal, but Noda did not swam in the final and was not awarded with a medal.

Hirotsu Kazuo: was a novelist and literary critic active in the Showa period Japan.However, Hirotsu did show a talent for literature from an early age. While attending Waseda University he started submitting articles to various literary journals. In 1912, he joined Kasai Zenzo in establishing his own literary magazine, Kiseki ("Miracle"), to which he contributed short stories and translated works of foreign authors. In 1913, Hirotsu published a translation of Guy de Maupassant's Une Vie, which marked the beginning of a career of literary criticism and translation of various European writers.
