Shirzad Aghaee: was an Iranian poet and literary scholar. He was born in Shiraz in 1938 and received his M.A. in Persian literature at Pahlavi University of Shiraz in 1965. He taught Persian language and literature in Bushehr and published two poetry collections in Iran.In 1987 he emigrated to Sweden with his family. In Sweden he has published two poetry collections and three prose works on Persian literature, history and Iranian festivals. He is the father of the Iranian poet Mana Aghaee.
