Ram Chandra Shukla: an Indian painter and art critic. He resides in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, India, where he continues his art work. Ram Chandra Shukla was born in a farmer's family in a small village called Shukulpura of district Basti, Uttar Pradesh, in the year 1925. Soon after that his father shifted to a prominent, cultural city, Allahabad in Uttar Pradesh, where he grew up. He graduated from the Allahabad University and studied painting under a renowned Indian Painter of the Bengal School named Kshitindra Nath Majumdar. Thereafter, he joined Banaras Hindu University as a teacher of art in the department of Painting.

Pt. Ravishankar Shukla: Veteran Congressman, Freedom Fighter, Premier of CP & Berar from 27 April 1946 to 14 August 1947,First Chief Minister of CP & Berar from 15 August 1947 to 31 October 1956. He was the First chief minister of the newly formed Madhya Pradesh, the biggest state of India consisting of Mahakoshal, Madhya Bharat, Bhopal and Vindhya Pradesh from 1 November 1956 to 31 December 1956 i.e. till his death.

Shrilal Shukla: a Hindi writer, notable for his satire. He worked as a Provincial Civil Services (PCS) officer for the state government of Uttar Pradesh. He has written over 21 books [1], including, "Umraonagar men Kuchh Din" and "Suni Ghati ka Suraj".Shukla has highlighted the falling moral values in the Indian society in the post independence era through his novels. His writings expose the negative aspects of life in the rural and urban India in a satirical manner. His best known work Raag Darbari has been translated into English. A soap opera based on this continued for several months the national TV network in 1980s. It is a little known fact that he also wrote a jasoosi novel entitled Aadmi ka Zahar which went generally unnoticed by his fans and critics alike.

Munna Shukla: a Kathak guru and choreographer of Lucknow Gharana based in New Delhi, India. Born to a family who has been involved in dance for generations, Munna Shukla specializes in Kathak, a classical dance form of North India. He is a grandson of the noted Kathak Maestro, Late Achhan Maharaj, and a nephew of Birju Maharaj.Shukla received his initial training in Kathak from his father, late Sunder Lal Shukla, and later on from Birju Maharaj in New Delhi under the National Scholarship Scheme offered by the Ministry of Culture. During his training, he participated in many productions and gave several solo performances in the major cities of India.

Prabhat Prakash Shukla: the Ambassador of India to Russia.[1] Before taking up the post in Moscow on 2 October 2007, Shukla was the High Commissioner of India to Australia, and prior to that was the Indian High Commissioner to Singapore. He joined the Indian Foreign Service on July 11, 1974. He holds a Post Graduate degree in Economics, and knows Russian and French.
