Daisuke Ban: Ban attended Saitama-Ken High School. While in college, Ban performed in a theater group that performed the works of French playwrights. He held a small job at a teahouse during college. Though he considered becoming a salaryman, ultimately he turned to acting. His first role was Oumuto Ni Watori, in 1971. He did not, however, audition for his breakout role in Kikaider. His photo was one of many sent in to NET while they were casting the programme—Ban was one of several finalists, and the producer's wife reportedly looked at his photo and said, "He's the one!". He was then cast in the title role.

Daisuke Ichikawa: a Japanese football player. He is a pacey right-winger who currently plays for J. League side Shimizu S-Pulse.He was instrumental in Shimizu winning the second stage of J. League in 1999, the Asian Cup Winners Cup in 2000 and the Emperor's Cup in 2001. The side attack from Ichikawa on the right and Alessandro dos Santos on the left was Shimizu's main weapon during the period.He represented Japan at several underage levels. He made his first full international debut on April 1, 1998 against Korea when he was 17 year and 322 days old, which made him the youngest player who represented Japan. Ichikawa was short-listed for the 1998 World Cup finals, but national coach Takeshi Okada dropped him together with Kazuyoshi Miura and Tsuyoshi Kitazawa at the final training camp in Nyon, Switzerland.
