Kisho Yano: a Japanese footballer who plays as a striker for Albirex Niigata. Yano was chosen as one of the Designated Players for Development by J. League and JFA in 2002 when he was a student of Hamana High School. Because of this status, Yano was able to register as a Júbilo Iwata player while he was still eligible to play for his high school club. However, he did not play any official match for Iwata.He represented Japan at several underage levels and he was a member of the Japan team for the 2001 FIFA U-17 World Championship finals where he scored one goal. He was capped as a full international when he was sent on the pitch as a substitute on March 24, 2007 in a friendly against Peru. He was a member of the Japan team for the 2007 AFC Asian Cup finals and played 2 games as a substitute.

Kisho Kurokawa: was a leading Japanese architect and one of the founders of the Metabolist Movement.With colleagues, he cofounded the Metabolist Movement in 1960, whose members were known as Metabolists. It was a radical Japanese avant-garde movement pursuing the merging and recycling of architecture styles within an Asian context. The movement was very successful, peaking when its members received praise for the Takara Cotillion Beautillion at the Osaka World Expo 1970. The group was dismantled shortly thereafter.

Ephraim Kishon: was an Israeli writer, satirist, dramatist, screenwriter, and film director.During World War II the Nazis imprisoned him in several concentration camps. At one camp his chess talent helped him survive as the camp commandant was looking for an opponent. In another camp the Germans lined up the inmates shooting every tenth person, passing him by. He later wrote in his book The Scapegoat, "They made a mistake—they left one satirist alive."
