George Lindsay Henderson: was a politician in Manitoba, Canada. He was a Progressive Conservative member of the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba from 1969 to 1977. He also served as Mayor of Manitou, Manitoba, and was a President of Manitoba Co-operative. He was first elected to the Manitoba legislature in the 1969 election, defeating Liberal Kenneth Draper by 1008 votes in the rural, southern riding of Pembina. He was re-elected by a much greater margin in the 1973 election, as Liberal support declined in rural areas.

Henderson, himself, was then unseated for corrupt practices by agents and was then defeated in the resulting by-election. A Conservative, he was elected in the 1891 federal election. He was re-elected in 1896, 1900, 1904, 1908, and 1911.

He was born in Brooke Township, Ontario and became a municipal clerk, farmer and teacher by career. He was first elected to Parliament at the Lambton—Kent riding in the 1945 general election, defeating Liberal party incumbent Hugh MacKenzie. After serving one term, the 20th Canadian Parliament, Henderson was defeated by MacKenzie in the 1949 election.

D. James Henderson: is a former politician in Ontario, Canada. He was a Liberal member of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario from 1985 to 1995. He was first elected to the Ontario legislature in the provincial election of 1985, defeating Progressive Conservative incumbent Morley Kells by about 2,000 votes in the Toronto constituency of Humber. The Liberal Party formed a minority government after this election. Henderson states that his decision to enter politics was as simple as stepping off the street car and saying "I want to be a candidate" at the Liberal constituency office for the riding. He was later appointed as PA for the Ministry of Colleges and Universities. In the 1987 provincial election he was re-elected by an increased margin in the redistributed riding of Etobicoke—Humber. He again served as a PA to the Ministry of Colleges and Universities, before being appointed as PA for a Minister without Portfolio responsible for the province's Anti-Drug Strategy.

William James Henderson: was a Liberal party member of the Canadian House of Commons. He was born in Empress, Alberta and became a barrister, lawyer and Supreme Court of Ontario judge. Henderson was first elected at the Kingston City riding in the 1949 general election. After a redistribution of electoral districts, Henderson was re-elected for successive Parliamentary terms in at the Kingston riding in the 1953 and 1957 elections. He was defeated in the 1958 election by Benjamin Allmark of the Progressive Conservative party. In 1965, he was appointed a judge of the Supreme Court of Ontario. He is also considered a founder of Amherstview, a suburban community near Kingston.
