Ross Edwards: s a former Western Australian and Australian cricketer. Edwards played in 20 Tests for Australia, playing against England, West Indies and Pakistan. He also played in nine One Day Internationals including the 1975 Cricket World Cup series. He was a right handed batsman and superb cover fielder as well as a part-time wicket-keeper.

Ross Gerald Gregory: Gregory, a gifted right-hand batsman, was a precocious batting talent, making his debut for Victoria while still at school and his test debut before the age of 21 in the 1936-37 season, after scoring 128 for his state against Gubby Allen's M.C.C. tourists. Although this was his only first class century he scored 17 fifties in his 33 games and took 50 wickets with his leg breaks and googlies. He compiled 23, 50 and 80 in his three test innings. During the Second World War, Gregory enlisted in the Royal Australian Air Force and attained the rank of Sergeant-Observer. He was killed in action over Assam, near Gaffargaon, in 1942 aged 26.

He moved between commercial radio and the ABC, touring the country, hosting and singing with the ABC show band. It was during this period he performed with luminaries such as Peter Dawson, Slim Dusty and Mel Torme. His radio career reached a peak in the mid 1950's, and when television arrived in 1956, he successfully made the transition, appearing on variety shows, hosting game shows (7 Network) and in the early '60's on "Singalong" and Bobby Limb's "Sound of Music" (9 Network).
