Joseph Hervé Rousseau: was an Independent Liberal member of the Canadian House of Commons. He was born in Trois-Pistoles, Quebec and became a notary by career. He was educated at Ste-Anne-de-la-Pocatière College, then at Université Laval where he received his Bachelor of Civil Law degree. For twelve years he was president of the Trois-Pistoles school commission, and once unsuccessfully campaigned for a seat in the Legislative Assembly of Quebec. Rousseau was first elected to Parliament at the Rimouski riding in a by-election on 16 October 1950. After completing his term in the 21st Canadian Parliament he was defeated in the 1953 election by Gérard Légaré, the official Liberal party candidate on that occasion.

André Rousseau: was an entrepreneur and politician in Quebec. He was the first to occupy the position of Minister of Industry and Commerce from July 5, 1960 to December 5, 1962 under the first Government of Jean Lesage. In 1950, Mr. Rousseau also founded Rousseau Metal inc., a Quebec company that is specialized in the manufacturing of storage systems.

Yvette Boucher Rousseau: was a Quebec trade unionist, feminist and member of the Canadian Senate. She served as a CSN delegate on the Economic Council of Canada, the Royal Commission on the Status of Women and the Third World Conference on Work held in Brussels. From 1970 to 1973 she was president of the Fédération des femmes du Québec and from 1973 to 1976 was vice-president of the Consultative Council of the Status of Women and then served as president. In 1979, she was appointed to the Canadian Senate by Pierre Elliot Trudeau and sat in the body until her death in 1988.

Daisurami Bonne Rousseau: is a Cuban track and field sprint athlete who specialises in the 400 metres. A two-time participant at the World Championships in Athletics (2009 and 2011), her personal best for the event is 51.69 seconds. At the 2011 Pan American Games, she was the 400 m silver medallist and a relay gold medallist. She has also won medals at the Central American and Caribbean Championships in Athletics.
