John Allister Currie: was an Ontario author, journalist and political figure. He represented Simcoe North in the Canadian House of Commons from 1908 to 1921 as a Conservative and then Unionist member and then represented Toronto Southeast and then St. Patrick in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario from 1922 to 1929 as a Conservative.

Morley Currie: was an Ontario physician and political figure. He represented Prince Edward in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario from 1902 to 1908 and in the Canadian House of Commons from 1908 to 1911 as a Liberal member. He was born in Picton, Ontario, the son of George Currie and Catharine Richards, and studied at the University of Toronto, receiving his M.D. in 1895. Currie served as house surgeon for the Metropolitan Society Lying-in Hospital in New York City, later practicing in Toronto and finally Picton. He married Clara Clarke in 1904. Currie was surgeon and captain in the Prince Edward County militia. He was defeated when he ran for reelection in 1911. Currie died in Picton at the age of 75.

Michael F. Currie: is a Canadian politician, who served in the Legislative Assembly of Prince Edward Island in from 1996 to 2011. He represented the electoral district of Georgetown-St. Peters. Currie resigned his seat in the Legislative Assembly on March 28, 2011, to run as the Conservative candidate for Cardigan, in the 2011 Canadian federal election.

Dougald Currie: was a farmer and political figure on Prince Edward Island, and was educated there. He represented 2nd Queens in the Legislative Assembly of Prince Edward Island from 1902 to 1904 as a Conservative. He ran unsuccessfully for a seat in the provincial assembly in 1890. Currie was elected to the assembly in an 1902 by-election held after Donald Farquharson was elected to the House of Commons. He ran unsuccessfully for reelection in 1904. He died in Charlottetown.
